hi guys i need help picking a noteboook to buy i was wondering if you guys can suggest something.... that is thin light.... and preferabbly powerful...

what are some good notebooks in US or Japan or anywhere

You probably need to be a bit more specific. 🙂

What's your budget? What apps do you want to run? How big does the laptop screen have to be?

I'm inclined to suggest the MacBook Pro, if your budget is $2000-2500 (or $1800-2300 if you're a college/university student). True, you won't be able to fire up Counter-Strike on it without a dual-boot hack and the right drivers, but you can certainly fire up World of Warcraft or Quake 4. And they're certainly great for multitasking.
 
i want it to be less than 14.1 inches for the screen like around 14.1-12 inches.... something at least 1.6 mhz 1gb ram.... less than 5 lbs

i was looking at the sony sz but the cover is ugly.... anybody know if it can be changed ??
