I'm thinking about buying a laptop. I've never owned one before, but i wouldn't mind having one. I just got a huge 10" aperture telescope and to find things i need to use star charts . There is a app i use called stellarium that shows every star in the sky. I use it a lot, basically i look to see what the positions of little stars are "ones you cant see with the naked eye" and i find it on the telescope by pointing in that direction. Basically star hop to the nebula/galaxies ect.
The only problem with this is i have to run inside, go upstairs, look on my computer then run back down outside . If i had a laptop it would be so much easier.
I don't really care to much about gaming on a laptop, altho it would be a plus if it had a "decent" graphics card. Prefer 15+ inches on a monitor and battery life that lasted 6 hours or more at least if thats even possible iv seen people say there laptops last for like 2 hours thats pretty crappy IMO and wouldnt even be worth buying to me. My budget is only like $500-600. Also prefer something that doesnt get f'ing hot.
Oh btw would Laptops get consdensation on them if i bring them outside ? The area i live in gets alot of dew in the early hours of the morning the telescope is pretty much soaked with dew.
