Need help picking a Intel or AMD MotherBoard...

i still cant decide between CPU either a P4 2.4B 512K 533mhz or AMD XP2400
both are about the same price

so i guess im also asking whch CPU i should get 2
hehehe

i havent been keeping up with the new MBs lately
so it
needs 4 IDE channels
needs onboard NIC
onboard sound and video arent important
overclocking dont matter
dont need SATA

want to spend around $150

I think abit and epox both have a KT400 board that should do what you want. Look for them to have a highpoint chip onboard for the xxtra IDE ports.

But try newegg.com they have pics so you can see what you are getting

The Epox 8RDA+ (nForce2) will give you what you're looking for. BTW, the onboard sound is on par with the Audigy. Peace.
