Need help picking a case

I really need help picking a case. I am probably going to have an asus p4pe motherboard. I want usb in front and some in back.

Does anybody know any good cases that do not cost to much?

check some of the websites for staples.com coupons. You can easily get something like an Antec SLK2600 or SLK3700 for $50. Both have front USB connectors. Rear ones, they would be on the MB or on a card/adapter through one of your expansion slots in the case (supplied w/mb)

that spider case looks pretty nice, have you heard anything about them good or bad?

How man fans do I need in it?

I just looked at the Compusa ad for next week--the SLK2600 will be $50 after mail-in rebate starting Sunday.

Edit: $60 after IR, $50 after MIR

I REALLY enjoy my new case. I had a LANBOY/Antec 2600 before and it ran waay too hot and loud; I highly recommend against it. I don't care for Raidmax cases as someone suggested earlier, as most of them only have 60mm exhausts, which isn't a big enough fan. You need a 120mm or 2 80mm to properly exhaust a case. I started a thread about my new case here. I had 49/37 case temps (idle) in my old case; I am now at 39/30 in my new case after removing the stamped grills last night!! I am running all of my fans at their slowest speeds on my rheobus (5 volts). The case is $45 + 15 shipping @ Newegg w/o PSU. I ordered a 420 ChannelWell psu here for $25.75 shipped to go along with it. Totalling under $90 shipped is a great deal.

Another great case is this case. It is $39 without PSU. It is the same as the Antec SLK 3700 without the power supply. This case has "Intel air guide technology", a fancy way of saying the case is a farkin' wind tunnel and stays nice and cool. The dual 120mm fan openings ensure that the case can stay cool and the fans can stay quiet. The only reason I didn't buy this case is because I see it becoming as popular as the Chieftecs are now, and want something different.

Now if both of those options are too much, I would reccommend the shittiest dirt cheap case you can find; as you will eventually take it out in a field and beat the sh|t out of it like I did my Lanboy.

Matt
