Need Help Picking a 140mm Fan for a Rad

Hi, today i bought a watercooling setup. The rad will be mounted at the top of the case, and i made the mistake or buying sleeve bering fans. Basically i need 4 ball bering fans that are good on rads, and also rather quiet. (I also have a fan controller so i can control the noise that way if needed )

What rad? The fin spacing would determine the fan. Some rads won't perform well w/ low speed fans.

bad... the blades show to be a free air fan.

The only other 140mm fan i would consider is a Yate if you want cheap.

Yates are GREAT FANS dont let the price fool ya.

However.. u wont get that much better cooling on a 140x2 vs a 120x2... and a 140 wont fit in your front bay, so your case needs a spot which can take that wide of a rad natively.

Maybe the fan you listed can be a push fan, and the one i listed as a pull fan? Or should i get 4 of those?

4 Yates = WIN and cheaper

Get the lower speed and sandwitch the rad in fans, and it will be as good as u having high speeds on it.

or get 4 high speeds.. yates arent very loud. There definitely not the typical screamers.

I already ordered 4 Yates. But what about the sleeve Bering? Because they are going to be mounted on top of the case...

I only went for a 140x2 because the DF-85 has a space for it.

Stick with the yates then, mounted flat they wear faster than ball and develop a noise. For the price you can afford to replace them. If you don't have it you'll want a control for quiet. Also you will find the black yates to be more quiet, something about the translucent frames makes them more noisy.

Ok, I ordered 2x: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=29791 for push, and i will use the yated i ordered as pull (or should it be the other way around?)

That way when the yates go bad i will have 2 more to swap them out.

u dont need the yates on the other side.

the penitrators will do good enough of a job.

Also the penitrators have a forced air duct, so it pushes air straight.

I watched the video on the penetrators, they look pretty powerful
