Need help: P4 1.6A w/ P4S533 MB can't go above FSB147

Can someone input some idea whether i can o/c a little more??
I didnt' do the wire modd thing on the cpu, will that help?? coz the bios can set voltage up to 1.7 already??
Wut if i replace my stock HSF w/ AVC sunflower + AS3, would that help???

This is my spec:
P4 1.6A @2.35 w/ P4S533 Bios 1008 beta003
Samsung (not original) PC2700 512 Ram
Radeon 32MB DDR
Quantum 13G 5400rpm (i know this sucks......but will that consider as a limit of not getting 147fsb or above too??)
Enermax 431W
Sony DVD 16x
Yamaha8824

Or just that P4S533 won't go that high at all???

Btw, i use the cpu/mem ratio 4:5...............
i tried 1:1 n the fsb is able to get 150, but not stable..........

classic sis645 limitation....

many of the original p4s333's barely got above 141-142 before they hit this wall...However the p4s533 has been reportedly better but I have heard of many running into the wall right where you are at...

no matter the vcore, right???

lowered all the cas timings???

lowered the mem ratio???

temps look fine???

Voltages look fine???


Could also be the fsb....with no agp/pci lock there may be a something does not like the pci or agp being out of spec...that seems to be a bit of a strecth as 37mhz is not high at all...Some nic cards and older pci cards do not like it though...

Yup, common on Sis 645. ~ 150 FSB or so, and they are done.

Yes Duvie, that's true.......tried to lower cas, lower ratio, n it doesn't seems to be any better......

the temp are around 35-42.........so it should be fine rite........
btw.....i'm not using any PCI slot though......so does it matter if the PCI speed is at 37mhz for my system???

Thanx for the inputs guys, now i decided to lower the fsb to 139 n set the cpu / mem ratio to 4:6.
it gives me DDR417 which is good.......n it's running so stable.....doing the torture test w/o any problem yet..........

maybe Sis645 is just good at mem bandwidth where intel845 can push the fsb much higher.........
