I have an asus a7v and thunderbird 800. Currect cpu temp is 47C (according to amd well within norm). Would like to overclock. What settings would I change. Also using pc100 memory if that makes a difference. Not sure what speed I would like to go to.

If for example I wanted to go to 900, can I just change it to 9*100? Everything on the mobo is set to auto, so everything is done through the bios. What other settings need to be changed, jumpers. Or can you overclock in the bios.
Dont know. Thanks.

I'd recommend getting a new fan first, but.. If you want to risk it, yeah.. Just set the multiplier to 9.0 and have the FSB at 100Mhz and you'll have 900MHz (assuming either the L1 bridges were connected or you connected them yoursed).. I would really recommend getting better cooling first, though..
