I was running my q66 at 3.6ghz at 1.40v stable on 8X 450fsb and i got a new cpu block and long story short i had to reset my cmos, so i need help on what to disable, what voltages to set, etc. It would be helpful if someone typed it in the proper format as well like
AI Tweaker - Manual
CPU Multiplier - 8x
Like that so i can easily follow and change my settings, thank you very much.

You're going to get better and more specific advice -- I hope . . . . shortly. I have only brief experience with the P45 chipset -- so I cannot provide you with specific settings. However, I'm surprised that you hadn't kept a log of your settings before you reset your CMOS. A simple Notepad file, with dated segments following this sort of format would allow you to keep track:

[Date/Time]
CPU speed: [Ghz/Mhz]
CPU host frequency:
CPU Multiplier:
FSB speed: [Mhz]
DDR speed: [Mhz]
CPU : RAM ratio: [integer1:integer2]
VCORE ["setting"]:
VCORE ["reported"]: [BIOS and/or CPU-Z]
RAM voltage:
RAM latency settings:
NB voltage ["set"]:
NB . . . . ["reported"]"
SB voltage ["set"]:
SB voltage["reported"]
CPU_VTT/FSB voltage ["set"]:
CPU_VTT . . . . ["reported"]:
PRIME95 small FFTs: [pass/fail] after __hrs__mins [manually terminated?]
PRIME95 Blend test: . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
IntelBurnTest: [iterations/time-lapsed/pass/fail . . . . etc.]

You could then copy this "template" repeatedly in a single expanding Notepad file for each group of settings, and refer to it later. You could change the items to suit what they're called in your P45 BIOS.

ALSO: My nVIDIA [ASUS and eVGA] motherboards provide a feature to save BIOS-setting profiles, so that you can simply load them at will and at any time. It is possible that these profiles are erased when you "CLR CMOS," but I thought I saw once -- with my systems -- that they weren't. It would be good to confirm that for your P5Q Pro -- either way.

I could not find the option to save my bios settings also i will from now on keep my settings logged but i couldnt because i did not expect to have the issue i had when i installed my new water block. I have a friend that will be helping me tonight so i no longer need this thread but i really really appreciate your help, thank you very much.

What I still don't understand -- and you are under no obligation to explain -- is how installing a different water-block would have an impact on the stability of your system with the over-clock settings you said were stable. I'm curious.

It would only seem possible if the water-block wasn't correctly installed, and you had a temperature problem leading to instability.

Well when i installed the block the motherboard light would stay off so i took out the battery to reset the cmos hoping it would fix the problem but i later found out after a few hours of troubleshooting that the screws were touching the motherboard tray and shorting out so the motherboard shut itself down.
