These are my specs:

Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe with newest BIOS
Opteron 146 CAB2E 0546 GPAW Stepping with IHS removed
2x1gb Corsair XMS PC3200
Seasonic S12 500W

I've got the processor to 275x10@1.345 volts (saw a thread on undervolting to keep the temps down) and windows won't boot if I raise the HTT anymore.

Ram is being ran at 2.5-4-4-8@2.7V with the ram divider at 166mhz. Pic

I need some help getting this chip to 2800mhz+ and I can't seem to find how.

Forgot to mention that sometimes when it doesnt boot to windows, it leaves a little black screen that says C.24 or some other number. Not quite sure what that means, but it could hint to whats wrong!

You can't undervolt and overclock. You have to overvolt to get good overclocks. Upping the voltage means that the transistors in the chip change from 0 to 1 and 1 to 0 faster, which means you can run the CPU faster. Lowering the voltage reverses that process.

I got the idea of undervolting there, I lowered the overclock to 2700mhz because I can't run 3dmark and it is currently running nice and stable at a very low temperature.

Well youll need more voltage at some point. Its obviously the thing holding you back.

I've tried giving it 1.5V and still can't boot up windows with 2.8ghz

Personally, 1.56- 1.57v is max for me for 24/7 use.

I've got a zalman 7000-cu and decent airflow in my case and not sure if the mobo will allow 1.6V

I'll see if raising the voltage higher than 1.5V will yield any results.
