my freshly voltmodded 7900GT runs great at 640/1650, except a lot of the time when I load a game, the card sticks in low power 3D mode at 500MHz. I can fix it by alt+tabbing then maximizing the game again, but that has gotten annoying quickly.
I tried raising the low power 3D clock to 640 MHz, but then it started sticking in 2D mode at 450MHz instead. I heard that people had trouble with throttling in the 90 series drivers, but any of the 80 series drivers I load do the same thing.
I found this thread with search, but it didn't work. Right now I'm running the tweaksRus 84.56 v2 rev 1 driver. Anyone have any ideas?
