My computer desk is a piece of plywood on top of two cheap metal file cabinets.

The lock on one of the file drawers is stuck. Anyone know how to pick one of those locks? I don't know what's in the drawer. Curious. I already tried to open it with the key from my mailbox - didn't work.

Help? Thanks.

Assuming you don't want to trash the file cabinet, you may be able to order a key for it.

If you know the company name of the cabinet, there may be a number on the lock tumbler.

From this you can order keys from this place.

I used them a few times when the keys to file cabinets at work were lost.

if its not a fancy file cabinet, the lock should be pretty easy to pick. Why not hit up youtube and learn a new skill?

hacksaw is cheap, you can always drill the sh*t out of the lock itself if you feel like it.
