Need help opening a laptop?

I have a Texas Instruments (TI) 5100 TravelMate Laptop. I need to replace the floppy drive. In order to do that I must first open the laptop. I unscrew everthing, but still can't open the laptop. I'm scared if I pull it to hard, the laptop might crack.

Do anyone know how to open it?

I tried the same thing with my Toshiba, because I interested in upgrading my hard drive. Had the same results, took out all the screws and still sealed tight as a drum. I suspect they make them so you need aa special tool or at least the know how to get into them so people like me don't mess with them, then want them fixed under warrenty.

I think "aa" was typo and not a special kind of tool.

Search the web for a service manual for the thing. I needed to take apart a Nec Versa and an Apple PowerBook and was able to find service guides online that described how to take them apart. Maybe something like that is available for yours.

I had one one time that had the locks under the shift keys and you could unlock it with a very thin screwdriver.
