Need help on visor

One of my friends has broken his visor delux screen. Being the idiot he is, he hasn't backed up the data and wants me to recover it. When I try to hotsync the unit, it recognises it but asks for a passwd. That guy says he has not put any passwd on the unit. Is there any default passwd or anything?
