I'm trying to get a Tulatin 1.2GHZ to work in an Asus CUSL-C Black Pearl, and found out after I bought the board that the CUSL-C series doesn't support the Tulatin's, you need the TUSL-C's.

I dug around a little more and a couple places hinted at instead of buying a TUSL series or an adapter, there's a physical workaround one can do on the CPU itself to get it to work in a CUSL series board.

I'm just wondering if anyone here knows of a guide or posting that details that out a little more?

Thanks in advance!

I tried a "tualatin mod" for an Abit BX6-r2, and failed, and ended up frying the mobo. So from my perspective, I don't recommend doing the mod, if it would even work on your mobo.

The adapter is the best way to go.

I have one working just fine with a Celeron 1.2Ghz on an intel 440BX board.
