I registered a domain when I signed up for hosting at 1and1.com. I decided to go with a different host now since 1and1 was lacking in quite a few features. I want to transfer my domain over to godaddy but I'm not sure how to do it. I don't see any options for it in my 1and1 customer panel.
TIA!

start a transfer request in godaddy....if its registered under the same name (which it should since its yours) it should go thru no problem. You may have to buy another year @ godaddy

I don't mind that. Only thing I can't figure out is how to check if the domain is locked over at 1and1.com

What sucks more than 1and1 web hosting?

1and1 domain registrations :)

Confirm the domain is not LOCKED
Then initiate the transfer from your new registrar (GoDaddy.com)
