I want to buy Plextor Plexwriter 12/10/32s Internal SCSI CD-RW Drive.
But I still have a question.
If I buy the retail box, did it come with the SCSI Card or I need to buy SCSI Card?
What's the best SCSI Card?
How's the quality of this burner?
Also is there any good deal for this burner?

Thanks.

I have this burner, I like it a lot. My system is all SCSI so I paid extra for this burner. IDE burner is the same thing though.

There may be retail boxes that have a SCSI card in them, but they may be kinda pricey, I really don't know. This drive is a 50 pin SCSI-2 device. Any PCI SCSI card with an internal 50 pin adapter should do the trick. I'd look at the Adaptec cards for this, or maybe a Tekram 390F or 395U. You should be able to pick up a basic SCSI card for less than 50 bucks.

Quality is good, I have had no troubles at all with it. I didn't look around for any deals but the cheapest price on pricewatch is $229.
