Need help on overclocking an AMD 4000+ with DFI Lanparty Ultra mobo

I'm trying to overclock my AMD 4000+ CPU. I have a DFI Lanparty Ultra SLI-DR motherboard. When I go into the BIOS, I change my FSB setting from 200 to 210. I then tried to reboot but the computer won't reboot. After reading the overclock guide here on the forums, it mentions that I may need to adjust the speed of my memory. However, I cannot find where to do this in the BIOS. What am I missing? Is adjusting my memory speed the next logical step I need to take when trying to overclock? Thanks! Anybody got experience with this motherboard? Thanks!

yes put ur memory on a divider...

it should be under the RAM options in the bios...

it will either be RAM : CPU ratio

or

RAM speeds 200/166/133 etc...

set urs at 166 then continue raiseing the FBS

Hi,

Wow you shouldn't need memory dividers on a 10Mhz CPU increase!

What memory are you using, as if PC3200 memory it should be able to cope with 210Mhz!

Give some more details n system and I am sure many here will be able to help.

Yeah if its a good ram, it should be able to go higher then 10 Mhz

mine was stable at 216 Mhz..
220... well not that lucky though alot of people here would claim they hit it with no problems at all.

running at 1:1
