Her is my setup on my rig i put together this weekend.

MSiI NEO 2 platinum

3500 WINCHESTER

2xOCZ Voltage extreme max 3.5 volts.

BFG 6800 GT.

OCZ Modsteme 430 watt power supply.

I am haveing trouble getting prime to run. At my current clock i got all the way through 3dmark05 no problems at all. But when ever i run prime i get this after about a minute
"FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5 expected less than 0.4
Hardware failure detected, consult stress.txt file."

MY current bios settings are as follows.

HTT: 235
HT: 4
MULTIPLIER: 11
CPU: volts according to cpuz are 1.52-1.6
Memory Divider: 5/6 2 3 3 7 at 2.85 volts memtest stable My memory only shows that it is working in single channel mode is that normal or should i try to get it to dual channel. HOw do i got it to dual channel if need be.
Could it be the fact that my bfg is overclocked? I left it at 66 in the bios like everyone said to do but i have it overclocked. I am confused as this seems like i fairly conservative clock from what i have seen.

Although 2585mhz is a good overclock and about the normal max for most Winchester, you could possibly go higher using a lower CPU multi. Experiment with the 10x and 9x multis and higher HTT.

And with that voltage extreme memory, you shouldn't have to run a memory divider at 235mhz. You should be able to run 1:1. To take full advantage of that memory you will most likely need to get the OCZ booster to raise volts over 3.0, with higher volts that stuff will run very high HTT at 1:1 and great timings too.

yeah cause i did mem test at 1:1 and it need ed more volts. It made it to 70% without errors. I thought most people whee getting 2.6- 2.7 ghz. Any idea why i can get prime to work. I am on my tenth 3dmark05 and still no errors.

wasn't there an issue about Prime95 not being able to run on winchesters sometimes even at stock speeds?

By the way, my 3500+ runs at 2.53Ghz (10X253) HTT 4X and memory timings are 2.5-3-3-7 in dual channel mode just for reference.

What slots are your memory sticks in? Mine are in slots 1 & 2. I have the same motherboard as you too.

Mine are in one anad 3, that is probably it. I read somethingt about prime not working write on some of the winnies. But i ran it for 12 hours stock as part of the burn in. So i dont know but i figure it is pretty stable if i can get 3dmark05 to run for like 10 times.

I am a little confused on how to reflash bios. Some people are saying that these neo 2 boards aerent stable on the 1.41 bios and to go to the 1.36 bios. How do i find out what version I have and how do i flash it. The direction i read where a little bit confuseing

If your not too familiar with Flashing BIOS from a floppy disk and what not then just use the MSI utility that came with your MOBO and use the auto update to flash your BIOS to Revision 1.4. It seems to work fine on my setup. Still have to use the + or - for the LDT though. Oh well.

Oh and I think your motherboard will display your current BIOS at bootup. It is also in one of the menus in your BIOS i just cant seem to remember which one right now. The first or second one on the left i think, lol. Its easy to find.
