Need help on NT 5.

Hi, I have a workstation running as a simple file server (NT 5.0).

I created a user by the name of francis with a log in password so that he can access to the files shared.

The user took the notebook(winxp pro) away for holiday and change his log in password.

When he is back, he say that he can't access to the server, so I went to change the password to his new password using the NT admin tools - user management.

The problem now is even he log in using the correct user name and password, when he click on the server's shared folder, he will be prompt one more time to key in and then it works....

When must he key in twice? Any advice please.

so you guys aren't using active directory and logging in to a domain then...

he's logging in locally to the laptop. When he tries to get to the network share, he has to log in locally to that PC to get access.
