Need help on laptop CPU and GPU benchmark comparison

I'm thinking of buying a new laptop in the next couple of days and I've been doing quite a lot of research into cpus and gpus (I'm not that techy so mainly research into their function). I would like to know which is a better purchase: a laptop with a i5-4210U cpu (given a 3,382 score on cpubenchmark.net) with a nvidia GeForce 920m gpu. Vs . A laptop with a i5-6200U cpu (given a 3,900 score on cpubenchmark.net) with intel hd 520 graphics. I plan to play a few low end games on it such as league of legends etc. From what I've read people say that even with a weaker cpu a laptop with a gpu can still out preform one with a stronger cpu but no gpu. However I'm not sure how much better the nvidia gpu is over the Intel hd 520 graphics. Anyway sorry fpr babbling on but I hope to get an anwser. Thanks !

I would give a small edge to the 920m, mainly because it will not have to share the TDP with the cpu like the integrated gpu on the skylake. It wont be a huge difference though, and neither will be a very powerful gaming solution, but you can probably play LOL type games at low resolution and settings.

Edit: dont usuallly cite youtube as a source, but here is video of LOL on HD520 link Seems quite playable.

Welcome to the forums.

Notebookcheck is a great place to "check" how well mobile GPUs perform.

Here is the NVIDIA 920M:

Here is the Intel HD 520:

Just skimming through the tests, it does appear the NVIDIA GPU is quicker, but not by a large margin. I would imagine either would be fine for play LOL, DOTA 2, CS: GO, L4D2, etc... @ 720p.

I just purchased a laptop with the i5-6200U, so I'll be doing some testing myself.
