Moving into a new place and I haven't really been keeping up with the latest networking and wireless technology since I bought the Belkin N1 last year. I want to build a network (I have a PC, MacBook, and Airport Extreme) and need some advice based on the following:

1) I want to access my iTunes library, Netflix, and movies from my TV, PC, and MacBook
2) When accessing my music from the TV I'd like some visual interface so I can pick things out from across the room
3) At some point I will add a Xbox 360, PS3, and Slingbox to the network
4) SugarSync currently backs up my data, any other suggestions-- should I get a back-up drive my PC and another (Time Capsule) for the Mac?

I've heard of Roku, ZeeVee ZvBox, HP Smart Media Connect, Apple TV, and MythTV; but I'm not sure what will work given that I have a PC/Mac network.

I appreciate the advice, thanks!

Xbox 360 live will offer some netflix movie downloads soon, so you might want to consider getting one of the discounted xbox 360's unless you download a lot of netflix movies that will fill up the 20gb hd. AppleTV will hold your itunes, although it's a bit pricey, and will give you a visual interface to listen to your itunes.

If you want a more all-in-one solution, you could consider building a low power, htpc/server box to house all your files plus it can be connected to your tv. People in AV&HT can probably help you get going down the road better than this forum.
