Need help on choosing an Intel i815E motherboard

Hi,

I have decided to switch back to an Intel system, because of all the troubles I have had with my AMD system.

I am now looking at buying a i815E motherboard. I am thinking about either getting the Aopen AX3S Pro or the MSI i815E Pro (6337) motherboard. The Asus CUSL2 is too expensive so I not considering it in my list. Does anybody have experience with any of the above boards? Plz, give me your opinion of it!

If anybody would like to suggest another i815e motherboard, I will appreciate it as well.

Thank you for your replies!
Regards,
Gogga 🙂

Having used the MSI 815E Pro I would stay to stay away from it. There are quite a few bios problems that affect overclocking (ex: CPU voltage adjust broken in all but original bios). My board wouldn't post when I changed the jumpers for 133+ FSB, nor when I adjusted the CPU voltage past a certain point. I swapped my MSI for an Abit SE6 and have no complaints. I would take a look at the new Abit 815E board coming out (the SH6 I believe). I haven't used the Aopen board so I can't comment on it.
