Hello There,

I just got a brand new archos usb 2.0 24x cd rw drive.... it came with the Nero 5.5 software.... I don't really care for this software cause I already got the veritas recordnowmax 4.5 install on the system.... my question is I am trying to use DLA drag and drop with my blank cd-rw disc and even time I put in a new disc to the cdrw drive it keep on saying that it needs to format and it always ask to be format as full not quick that selction is always dim out... okay I try doing the full format and even after the time progress bar has finished it still just stays there and keep on counting well I got tired of waiting so I hit CTR ALT DEL and notice that the program is not responding... okay try another cdrw disc and it does the same thing... so is DLA not a good thing to use... cause it will burn stuff through the main program but not through DLA... Please help...

Thx,

Kev

I'm guessing by DLA drag and drop you mean being able to drag files to your CDRW drive and those files being burnt to the disk, well to do this you need to completely format the CDRW disk.
Nero is a few superior burning tool to use and also supports the same feature your enquiring about called Nero InCD.

if you want to drag n' drop to a cd-rw , i belive you need to use packet writing software . nero calls their's IN-CD. now whether or not it works with your USB drive is another matter.
you might also want to go to the NERO update page and get the newest version.
good luck
