need help on building a multimedia PC
Im going to a a local company to build my pc in a few weeks and
my budget is about 1500$CAN
im just wondering what my best options would be.
This pc will be for video encoding, sound recording, and gameing i would like tv-out
so i can watch movies on the bigscreen from my computer.
I have a general idea but nothing set in stone so if you could help me out and give me a few ideas that would be great.

new system:
cpu options:
P4 530 3.0GHZ HT 1M 800FSB S775 T-version CPU (retail) @ $240.00
or
P4 540 3.2GHZ HT 1M 800FSB S775 T-version CPU (retail) @ $285.00
i dont know if it would be worth 45$ more to buy the 3.2 over the 3ghz.

Motherboard:
P5P800 : P4 S775 865PE Dual-DDR 5PCI SATA Audio G-LAN AGP8x ATX @ $123.00
again dont know if this would be the best one to get.

ram: want atleast 1gig of ram type dont know
soundcard: i have my audiophile from my last pc.

video card:
Radeon 9600XT AIW : Radeon 9600XT All-in-Wonder 128M AGP8X Dual VGA w/ remote control ( 100-714120: retail) @ $280.00
i like the fact that it has a remote, and dual monitors
*question* with this vid card will i be able to
have both monitors act as one screen ex. on one monitor move a window to 2nd monitor?
also will this card be able to handel doom3?

harddrive: 200gb seagate
monitor:
Viewsonic E90fb 19" CRT (18.0" VIS) 0.25mm PerfectFlat CRT 1792x1344 (Black) @ $270.00
or
NEC Mitsubishi AS95F Ref: 19" (18.0" VIS) 0.24-0.28mm ClearFlat Shadow-Mask Flat-CRT 1600x1200 @ 76Hz]

case:
Gear A868 BK
Agear: A868-BK: 18" ATX Black Case, w/Window, side-led-fan Fancy Front panel,USB2.0 Rearfan, 480W

I dont see why you would go with a noname company with bad reseller rating when there are much better places out there. The only possible reason is that you just want to advertise your site.

if there are better then direct me to them :)
only reason why im dealing with them becase it was through referal and there way cheaper than futureshop ;p
edit:
after reading all the bad reveiws , makes me wonder if i want to have me pc built there.
so if you do know of any other shops in the vancouver area that build custom pc's at a good price, i would love to know

if i were you i would just order the parts myself, get a copy of mce 05, and save yourself the trouble and cost of a third party. i would also consider separate tuner card and video card, say a 9800pro and a pvr 250.

Go with an Intel Northwood. I built a P4 3.4c a few months ago, and it's a great system.
Cool temps with a fan, and the parts are available for a good price. Check my sig.
