Need Help On Adaptec easy cd creator

I'm wondering if there is a way to uncheck the button to cache the info to the drive before copying a cd.

The only way i can do this is to run a system test on the destination drive.
After that i can uncheck the option. If not, trying to uncheck the option says that my drive is not capable...but it is...

Anyone know a way around this?

btw it's adaptec easy cd creator version 4.02e

If you go into the easy cd program like you were going to burn a data cd. Under the tools menu and system test. Test the drive there and the cd copier will always use this. It worked for me anyways.

Yeah...that's what i do...but i have to do it everytime...just to burn without the caching...gets annoying...
