Need help on a suitable system for £250 less

After a motherboard, CPU, RAM, HD, Case, Heatsink/fan
Has to be stable, fast as poss,
how cheap are the P4 1.6????

Is it worth getting onboard sound/video??

An entire Pentium 4 system for 250 quid? That's going to be hard to do.

Just a Pentium 4 1.6A processor costs £120. A P4S333 costs about £80, leaving you £50 to squeeze in ram, hard drive, case, and anything else that you need. You won't be able to buy much of any system for £250, let alone a P4.

you are probably looking at an 815e mobo, celeron 1-1.3 ghz 128mb ram (might manage 256) 20 gb hard drive and no-name case. Where in uk are you ?
