Question Need help on a new build

I'm thinking on building a new system. This will be my first try as earlier I used prebuilt systems. Hope this goes well!

I already have a Polaris gpu, Dell 1080p IPS display, Mouse, Keyboard, Sound box and Windows (I'm thinking of installing Linux too, this time). Things I'm buying are -

Motherboard -

This PC will be mainly used for multimedia, office work (using pdf, ms-office) sometimes game. My budget is around 50000/- (Indian Rs). I'm from India. Should I go ahead with this? I wanted to wait for 7nm but my present pc is unable to do anything which require even a little bit of cpu grunt, which makes things irritating.

Do I need 2nd generation ryzen for good ram compatibility? Or updated motherboard bios is enough?
The games I'll play will be very basic, at least in the near future. Later may add more ram, upgrade gpu and cpu (if needed)

2nd gen Ryzen has better memory compatibility. I've not heard of that brand of memory. The Ryzen 2600 would be a safer bet. Then again it may work with the 1600. I would have thought it would at least work at lower speed or loser timings. It says it is compatible with AMD Ryzen though so you should be fine.

Thanks for the reply. Will it be wise if I take some cheap processor now like R3 1200 and upgrade it later with 7nm zen 2? Here the cost of 2600 is 30% more than 1600 while 1200 is very cheap, nearly athlon like price.

Yes that sounds like a good idea. You could sell the r3 1200 on ebay when you buy the new processor.
