Need help on a CPU sharing solution

So I have one PC and 2 users.
I've heard of solutions out there where I just need an extra monitor, keyboard and mouse and I can share the cpu power among the two users.
These users have to be able to use the PC at the same time.

Does anyone here have a better solution besides getting another CPU for the second user!!
(Well I might consider a second PC if it's powerful enough... 500Mhz and above 🙂

The PC's specs are AMD XP 1500, 256DDR, 40GB 7200, Geforce2 MX400 64mb, SB Live and dvd, floppy etc etc.

Any help would me really appreciated!!

i have seen many things like that but i dont know anyone that uses it. a 500 mhz computer will not cost that much. i would buy a new computer but thats just my opinion.

get a second computer and get a data switch to use the same kb, mouse & monitor...

No, this idea here is to have 2 people use one computer at the same time.

So a "data switch" is of no use!

I am looking into the idea of a second PC... but don't want to spend more than $150-$200.

Any good links?
