when i oc my memory speed up to 400, some artifacts began to appears. There was no artifacts at 395. Just wondering will puting heatsinks onto the memory on the card (Creative)get rid the artifacts off?! Btw, i have creative annil.2 GTS (not pro or ultra)

Even if you put heatsink it works, it will only shorten the life of the card.
cu'z it's thel limitation of the RAM. And think about it, how MUCH of frame will you ACTUALLY gian with that extra 5mhz??

I'd leave it at 395mhz, it's not worth the hassle. Putting heatsinks on the card will probably make the ram run cooler, but make sure you also have good airflow in your case.

the heat generated by the ram on a g-2 is negligeable(SP?)at best- I spent 2 hours one day cutting up 2 large sinks I bought at a comp show to install ramsinks on my (then)new gts-2 64 meg card. I measured the temp with a probe, before and after and only saw a 3 degree fahrenheit difference/ hardly worth the hassle. Sinks didn't even get warm to the touch, and that was dialed up to seing artifacts, then backing down a notch. Now, if it was an original g-force, I would say definitely to put them on :)
