Need help networking 2 PC's

I just bought a dsl/cable router so I can hook another PC in my house to the internet. I have already installed a network card in the other PC, but now I am unsure what I need to configure to get this all working. Does anyone know where I can find step by step instructions on how to configure everything without buying a $40 book?

Try here. Home Networking. All you really need to get things up and running is a 568B cable from the router to each PC. Depending on your OS will determine where you need to go next. Lots of help on Google. Don't hurt to ask on the AT forums either!!!

Your Router should have cime with some sort of instuctions. If not what kind of router to you have maybe the people at AT can help you out a little.
