Need Help - Must Stop people from parking!

I was in iraq for over a year, people over there dont' know how to drive, hell people here in the USA can't drive either. I will ask my cousin who's in bahrain right now what he'd do in that situation. Since theres no towing service, what do your local police force or authorities have to say about this situation?? Ask them for suggestions, that or like someone else suggested, talk to the base commander about it, or have your boss/company owner talk with the base commander. Otherwise, if theres no law against it, it IS your property, put concrete barriers around thier car until they get the hint.

Use forklift to lift drive axles off the ground.
Place some cinder blocks under drive axle
Remove forklift carefully.

Watch expression when owners trys to drive away. - Priceless

If you do not have cinder blocks, then just place the barriers behind the vehicle for a night.

Well it's not the US so they can't sue you. I say spear the car doors with the forklift and move them that way.

Either brick them in, put bricks under the suspension to lift them an inch or so (not easily noticable), or pick them up and stack them off to the side.

Slide some of those cement barriers so close to thier cars that they can't get in. We're talking less than 1". And if they don't back out perfectly straight, it's thier fault

While I favor some of the other suggestions here, I say put up some sort of barrier that can easily be moved for deliveries. A chain or rope strung between two points out near the street maybe, or a few sawhorse-type white/orange barriers.

I too vote for a removable barrier. I suggest a junk vehicle that you can just move with the forklift when a delivery truck comes.

Edit - smash the junk vehicle up really good and then put a sign on it. "This is what happens when you park here."

This is what I was going to say. You could also use those big concrete blocks if they don't get the hint with the chain barrier. All you have to do is forklift them out of the way when the delivery trucks show up.

I like this idea. People need to see what potentialy can happen if they don't follow rules. buying a junk vehical and smashing it will do just the trick. and at no risk to the owner catching you in the process.

Or tell the the forklift is down for repairs, parts won't be there 'till tomorrow.

Guess it depends on the laws over there & what you can get away with.

1. Move the car out of the way (forklift or otherwise)
2. Remove the valve stem inserts from all 4 tires (easily unscrewed with correct tool)
3. Profit!

Owner now has 4 flat tires which are not permanently damaged, just a pain to replace the valve stem inserts and refill all 4 tires with air. They waste your time, they pay the penalty.

While some of the ideas are indeed fun and devilously ingenious, starting a pissing war with U.S. military might not be a good idea.

Write a letter to the base commander. Ask him politely if he could encourage his soldiers not to part where they shouldn't. Follow up with letters that include license plate number of offenders.

A solder does not want the wrath of the base commander upon him.
