Need help mounting bay-res in TT XASER III Case

I just started putting together my first water cooling rig and have hit my first problem. The TT XASER III has a mounting system that is one of those where you mount the two guide rails on both sides of the CD-ROM and then just slide it in. However, the bay-res I have doesn't have the holes in the same place. Has anybody run into this problem before and found away to fix it without it looking like it was just put toghether with tape and luck? Thanks in advance folks...

you can buy one of those HD 5.25" bay adapters. See if that would make it fit? unless it's too big to use the adapter which now that I think about it probably is the case?
