Need Help migrating OS and apps

I have a WD Raptor (75GB ... w00t) on the way from Frys and im wondering how to safely migrate my OS and apps to it. See My current drive is partitioned into two sections one for my os and apps and one just for my games. A seperate physical disk has my driver backups and windows swap file.

I want to move my os and apps to the new raptor and remove the partition so that whole drive can be divoted to games. I woudl be willing to go and buy partitionmagic if thats the only way out but im sure there is a way to coax Fdisk to do it. right?

I have many programs that would be a pain to reupdate (windows for one) so any help is appreciated.

i would ghost the image. We used a ghost image and Power Quest DNA at work for migrating over 5000 machines. Windows also has a "Files and Settings Transfer Wizard" under system tools. Run that and that will capture most of your settings (kinda what DNA does) and then after the install or ghost re run that app and itll replace all your settings
