Need help-memory question

I have a Asus A8N SLI deluxe (AMD 3500+) and I installed a 1 GB OCZ stick and its working fine. So if I install another 1GB stick of different brand will it work in dual channel or do I have to have the same OCZ stick for it to work in dual channel.

finally is 2 GB too much for video editing?

thanks in advance

The system will work in dual channel only if you match all the specs. What I mean by specs is Cas Latency, MHz, chip count, and timings so it might be better to get the same memory you already have. This would minimize any possible compatibility issues.

For video editing you need at least 2GBs of memory.
