Hi all,
I have several P4's that have burned out (defective motherboard). The company that sold them to us is a shady type and we can't get replacements. We just want to cut our losses and buy something inexpensive but reliable from newegg or some other vendor and rebuild the PC's so they aren't sitting around.
The processors are P4 1.5Ghz. The top of the CPU says:
1.50GHZ/256/400/1.75V
SL62Y MALAY
L204A672-8243
INTEL (C) '01
I assume that means a 1.5 Ghz P4, 400 FSB, 256K cache, 1.75 volt socket made in malaysia.
I'm not sure what form factor it is though (Socket 478?), I don't keep up on these things any more because the standards keep changing and I've moved on from PC technical stuff.
Could anyone help me out and recommend an inexpensive but reliable mainboard? OCing is not a concern. I trust ASUS and Intel boards, don't trust MSI if that helps. I think the current boards may be MSI and half out of 14 have fried.

Thanks.
