Ok.... i need to create a completely hidden client.. heres what i'd like it to do..... install eccp into a directory with some random name, and rename the exe to a random name... hide the userinfo.txt and i guess maybe the whole folder and everything in the folder... anyways.. i need it to run as aservice i guess? its actually a nt4.0 box... but i might have an xp box too.... then... i need it to somehow on a timed basis (if possible) attempt to make a dump.. cuz the pc wont be online 100%... also... is there a way to write a program that will automaticly tag the dplist file with real user name data? so that the userlist.txt actually on the pc would just have dead and fake data...

-bob 😀

i actually wanna put all this on my mothers pc.. it'd be super redundant in her not ever finding it or knowing about it or anything... and dont yell at me.. i gave her the pc for free.. but i'd rather not have her interact wit it

ps, if you have any other ways, bring em to the table...

Bob,

just a quick word...

u can rename everything, put bogus information on the userlist.txt so noone knows its you but before u can upload the file u must use a Search & Replace feature from some prog. (I use Homesite 4.5 and it has that feature) to replace the bogus information with the correct one u want.

I think that u can also hide every file and still keep the service running in the background in NT 4.0...

ok.. well.. i need an automatic dplist renamer.. altho.. that might not be feasible.. unless i could somehow time it to go a minute or so before it would automaticly try to send its stored points... then rename back to any points that it held
