Need help....loosing our Web Admin

I need to know what may need to be done for an internet site that is owned by a company but the Web Admin won't give out the passwords to the site administration pages. The pages are hosted off to another domain host though. ....we may have to get rid of him. Anyone know how to go about something like this?

Are you paying for the servers?

Ask for backup copies on DVD or something from him so if you guys somehow mess up getting access you at least have something.

If the company is paying for the hosting and they paid for the domain, then I'd sue his ass off for not giving the passwords.

Unless they signed something stating rights, I'm not so sure that can be done.

Many hosts give you a hard time switching to other hosts if they hold your domain name, it might be somewhat like that.

Huh? They are company property, not his decision to make.

Get a lawyer, in the meantime, make MANY backups, and log any oddities. Try to find out what his home IP block is and block it.
