Need help looking for Renter's Insurance for Maryland

dabuddha

Lifer
I just moved up to Montgomery County, Maryland from Virginia and my State Farm premium went up from $95/year to $215/year. Is this a decent rate or should I look elsewhere?
If I should look elsewhere, does anyone have a recommendation for a company to check with? Or are there any price search engines for this sort of thing.

Geico wants $342 / year

Sounds about right I've always heard the rates are a lot higher in the Peoples Republic than they are in Va.

Higher cost of living.
More expensive area

Richer target for B&Es.

Keep going north to Fredrick.
