Need help locating a modem driver please (from Compaq Presario 5838)

I have a modem pulled from a Compaq Presario 5838. The chip says Conexant RH56D-PCI. It is a PCI modem that I have and wish to use it but Compaq does not have this driver on their website. help.

I did and nothing there either regarding the modem. Sound card, yes. Other stuff yes. But no modem.
