I have a Sony Vaio VGN-T150 laptop which is out of warranty. It does not power on, and the reason is that the flex cable that goes from the power button to the motherboard is broken. Seems like a replacement should be easy to find, buy and restore the laptop back to working condition.

However, I am having a hard time locating a replacement flex cable and I need some help. I have also not been able to find the service manual so I can locate a part number for this specific laptop.

The following is identification that is all that is written on the cable:
AWM E41447 80C 60V 20624 VW-1 ECOGREEN

Thank you in advance.

have you tried looking on ebay? sometimes people sell parts, 'as is' broken laptops etc. might be able to salvage the cable from something like that.

i also found this Text but i didnt recognize the part on the list. at the very bottom is a part request form.
