NEED HELP!!: lcd monitors

why is the dotpitch for lcd monitors so high? are they rated along the same standards as regular tube monitors? is it good for design stuff?

I dont know if it's the same, but the 15.1" UXGA on my laptop is so crystal clear compared to my Sony...I too would like to know.

yeah..i have never seen a lcd with a dp lower than .28 or .27. are they just as good??

I hate desktop LCDs. Sony Trinitron only for me. For a laptop, you have no choice!
