need help - keeping fonts large by default in Firefox

I have a dell 700m, and the native resolution (1280x800) is tooooo high for the 12" screen.

in firefox, i use Ctrl++ (to enlarge fonts 1 size up) and its about right for me... however, i have to do it with every new page

i went into preferences -> general -> fonts & colors
changed proportional size 16 to 17, monospace size from 13 to 14... changed display resolution from 96dpi to 127dpi

but it doesnt seem to do anything.

if i check 'always use my fonts' , the font type changes but the font size seems to remain small.. no matter what value i put for the Size

thanks for the suggestion! i jsut did that, but all the values are 16s and 13s (like in the GUI control)... i changed them and still no difference 🙁

Yes, change minimum font size 🙂

That does work for sure; i currently have mine set larger there, which works great.
