I heard that there are a few K7Pro's floating around that WILL NOT run a T-bird due to unknown reasons, it seems at though mine is one of them :(. I've Tried everything now. It won't even post most of the time and when it does it makes it just past bios screen and freeze's. the chip runs great on my K7M on my server box. I hope MSI has a solution for me........

What version BIOS do you have?

Do you know of any programs that could tell us what version of the board we have so we can compare? I tried SiSoft Sandra but I don't know if it'll do it.

Or you could sell them separately and get the socket equiv. (something I'll probably do sometime this summer...i'm actually satisfied w/my comp now...only thing I'd upgrade now is the printer!)

tried every bios from 1.3 to 1.8 (I couldn't find any inbetween ones) I guess I'll have to call MSI tommarrow and see what they say. I have a steping 5/clkgen 110 board maybe the steping 5 has something to do with it, but it does have superbypass.........
