Need help....is there a paralell to USB thingy available??

OK...heres my problem....It looks like my paralell port is not working properly, so how is one to use their printer. Is there a connector that will take the printer cable from paralell to USB?

On a side note....only five more post to make Golden....

There are a lot of different companies that sell them. I picked up a Belkin Parallel to USB adapter when they first came out for around $70, but I'm sure they've come down in price in almost three years.

they're like $30 or more i think.

brand does not matter. just make sure you have win98 or later

I paid $15 for such a converter a few month ago. I got it from Micro Center, no less (not known for great prices on hardware).

I found a guy on the For Sale/Trade forum who will sell me one for $15 shipped...not bad.
