I was up at my parents place putting in a new motherboard, processor and memory to upgrade their old PC.
For the motherboard, I'm using a MSI A55M-E33
for the cpu, I'm using an AMD A4-6320
It's pretty basic, but it will have twice the memory and go from a 1.9 GHz processor to 3.8/4 GHz. I bought it because they never play games, and the onboard video should play movies & such ok.
Trouble is, I ran across this:

In the cpu compatibility list, I see the A4-6320 listed, but then a suspicious "N/A" listed over under the GPU column.
Then under FAQ, I find this:
question: I bought a new Richland A4-6320 CPU but I can't get my onboard VGA to work?
answer: Richland A4-6320 CPU don't support onboard GPU....
??? The A4-6320 is described as an APU with Radeon HD 8370D graphics. I purchased this processor a few months back when I saw the processor in the list of the ones that work with this motherboard. Did I not look closely enough? Does the "N/A", along with the "don't support onboard GPU" mean that the motherboard won't work with this processor? I had assumed the cpu wouldn't be in the list at all if it wasn't.
