Ok, I know you're not suppose to screw in a motherboard directly into a case because it will short out. I have 3 plastic spacers that came with the board. The problem is, the holes that line up with the board are on like a little hill (don't know how to discribe this) so if I put the spacers in those holes the whole back panel doesn't line up at all. There's only one hole that I can actually put a spacer in that it will line up with the back panel and with the other holes that are on the little hills. So my question is, is it safe to do that? Because I would be essentually screwing it right into the case.

I would play it safe and get another case. What type and brand case do you have?
