Need help installing sub into 2006 Camry

I have a 2006 Camry and I am using the stock headunit. I have a Neo Ion hooked up in the rear into the CD Changer port for my iPod. I have an amp and a sub from my older car, but there is no RCA output on the back of the headunit. Is there some kind of converter or harness or something that I can buy that will allow me to hook up the sub to this headunit?

Does your amp have speaker-level inputs? If so, you can just splice a line from the rear speaker lines to the amp, and the amp will power the sub.

If the amp only has RCA connectors, you can get a line-level converter from Tweeter, CircuitCity, etc. and connect that to the speaker lines and then run an RCA to the sub.

EDIT: Crutchfield has them for ~$30. Link

Sorry, one more question. The cable I ran before from my headunit to my amp was an RCA cable with a power cord of some type (not sure what the term is). The cord was supposed to let the amp know when to power on and power off based on the headunit, or so I gather. Will this converter have such a connection, or is that something else I need to have squared away before I install?

There may be a turn-on lead on the radio, which you'll have to run back to the amp. The old 'cheat' was to tie in to the power antenna lead, but many radios today now only supply voltage to this line when the tuner (requiring the antenna) is on, but not while playing a tape or CD. If that happens with yours (or you don't have a power antenna) you can clip this into the speaker wire to simulate the remote lead for your amp: Link
