I just finished building the machine and it's time to install Windows 2000. I have the full, install CD-rom, but no boot disks.

Is there a way for me to access the CD-rom without them? I've tried but it won't let me run "Setup.exe" in DOS.

I downloaded boot disks off the 'net and got through most of the setup, but it fails at the end...saying I'm missing a file.

Any help would be great.

Thanks!

You can boot off the W2K CD, floppies are no longer needed. Go into CMOS and tell it the boot of... CD-ROM --- HDD --- etc....

Just make sure the CD-ROM is first to boot.

You can also format and partition with the W2K CD-ROM.
