Need help installing GeForce 2 MX on Red Hat 7

I just purchased a Hercules Geforce 2 MX card and trying to configure it on Red Hat 7. I downloaded the 2 rpm files for red hat 7 off of the Nvidia website and installed them. I also edited the XF86Config file so it uses the nvidia driver instead of nv. When I try to run X, it crashes saying that it could not find a video device. Is there a way to install this card or is the MX chip not supported yet?

Thanks in advance

edit: I just looked at the Hardware Compatiblilty list on the Red Hat homepage and it mentions that it will work the the CVS source version of XFree86. Does anyone have information on how to use the CVS version?
