Need help installing an app on linux-apache server..."mywwwroot"?

I don't do this often and I'm trying to install AWStats on one of our servers at work and it seems to be working except for all the images.

the directions say

<< Move all AWStats icon sub-directories into a directory readable by your web server, for example /yourwwwroot/icon or /yourwwwroot/icons. >>



I'm not sure if "yourwwwroot" is a directory I have to make or if it refers to a directory that exists already. Here's what i have so far:
